Hi my name is Tamia Parham and I’m a student who used writing to reflect on my experiences and explore how language shapes identity. A lot of work focuses on how the way people speak can be both empowering and limiting especially depending on social expectations. This portfolio includes personal and academic writing, including my Language and Literacy Narrative and a synthesis essay where I connect my own experiences with research.
